Kenya School Screening Study

The Kenya School Screening Study involved 25 trained teachers examining the eyesight of over 20,000 children in the Kitale area of Kenya using Peek Acuity. Nine hundred of those tested from 50 local schools were found to have visual impairment, and many children were unaware they had poor eyesight or that they needed vision correction. By using Peek, teachers were able to identify pupils who needed help and ensure they were referred for specialist treatment.
