Peek accepted for prestigious technology Accelerator programme

Peek Vision is one of ten organisations to be selected for a new Accelerator programme with Turn.io, the leading AI-powered chat for impact platform.  The programme is supported by Johnson & Johnson FoundationMulago Foundation, and OpenAI.

Peek was selected from over 400 global applications to be part of the Turn.io Chat for Health & AI Accelerator. The programme will enable Peek to rapidly pilot an AI-powered chat service to enhance training and product support.  The aim is for the chatbot to help Peek-programmes implement Peek software faster and more easily, allowing Peek to scale up its training to meet growing demand for our software and services to tackle the global vision crisis.

Alongside the other participants, Peek will receive over $500,000 in value across Turn.io’s conversational technology, development support, and expert mentorship and guidance, culminating in a working AI-enabled solution by the end of the programme.

“The 400+ quality applications we received confirm a decisive shift toward conversational, AI‑enabled care. Our cohort will show how responsibly designed chat solutions can extend services at scale at a low cost,” said Lieze Langford, Head of Impact Accelerators at Turn.io.

Peek was selected for the Accelerator based on its scalability and sustainability, technical readiness to implement AI-enabled chat services, market access and stakeholder relationships and clear impact potential.  The pilot is expected to conclude in early 2026, with the results rolled out more widely to Peek users later in the year.
