Chandrashekher is a public health and eye care specialist with over 12 years’ experience delivering large-scale eye health programmes across India. He holds an Integrated Masters degree in Optometry and Vision Sciences and a postgraduate degree in Public Health. Chandrashekher has led community-focused initiatives with organisations including VisionSpring, Sightsavers India, and the India Vision Institute. Awarded the prestigious Global Challenge Research Fund (GCRF) by the UK Government and Cardiff University, he has undertaken research at Cardiff University and holds a PhD on community eye care.
