Chuks is a public health professional with over two decades of experience in program management, specializing in the elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), Eye Health, Reproductive Health and HIV prevention. He has worked on numerous high-impact health initiatives, including helping to establish Nigeria’s inaugural National Trachoma Taskforce (NTTF) which contributed to the elimination of active trachoma across nine states. He also led the delivery of over 3,500 trachoma trichiasis surgeries under the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust-funded SAFE project.
